When are your bouncy castles available?

Bouncy castles are available seven days a week, all year round.

Do you offer anything besides bouncy castles?

Yes, we do! In addition to our wide range of bouncy castles, we also provide soft play, inflatable obstacle courses, bounce and slide inflatables, garden games, disco domes, and more. These options are perfect for toddlers, teens, and even adults depending on the hire, helping you create a complete entertainment package for any event.

How do I book?

You can book by telephoning us on 01525 633331 or 07934 900068 (please do not send a text message as these will not be answered) or you can e-mail us at contact@allsortzbouncers.co.uk

What notice do I need to give to book?

It’s best to book as early as possible to guarantee getting the equipment you want to hire and getting the delivery and collection times. If another company lets you down on the day of hire, you can try booking last minute and if we have anything available we’ll do our best to fit you in.

Do you need a deposit and how do I make payment?

Due to excessive last minute cancellations we now require a £25 non refundable booking fee for all orders of £100 or more,.This must be paid by bank transfer within 24 hours of booking. If we cancel due to bad weather or extreme circumstances you will be able to transfer this fee to an alternative date. Unfortunately due to a number of returned cheques we are no longer able to accept this as a method of payment.

Do you deliver, set-up, dismantle and collect the bouncy castles?

Yes, it’s all included in the price.

How safe are your inflatables?

To us, safety is paramount. All of our units are made by leading British manufacturers, tested annually and conform to PIPA and RPII standards. Certificates are available upon request.

All of our bouncy castles are cleaned before every hire, regularly serviced and comply with UK Health & Safety regulations. All electric cables are fitted with water proof connectors.

We don’t hurry when setting up – all points are pegged down, cables stowed away to minimise trip hazards and enough safety mats supplied to cater for any unexpected tumbles. A full briefing is also given to ensure you are completely at ease should any unlikely problems arise.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. We have Public Liability of £5 Million.

Please note, PLI covers you (the hirer) for damage, loss, or injuries incurred to you or your property / venue, which are caused by incorrectly assembled equipment or faulty equipment provided by the bouncy castle operator. It does not cover you (the hirer) for damage, loss or injuries incurred by misuse of the inflatable or if you change / move / rearrange any part of the equipment after the delivery and company set up.

A copy of our insurance certificate is available upon request.

How long does it take to set up?

Setting up and dismantling takes about 15-20 minutes, sometimes quicker depending on the ease of access to the site. We will answer any questions and give you a full description of how to use the bouncy castles safely and how to combat any problems (in the unlikely event that they do arise).

You will also have to read and sign a hire agreement indicating that you fully understand your responsibilities whilst the hire unit is in your care. E.g. Full supervision, no acrobatics, number of children recommended on the inflatable at any one-time, age limits etc.

How long do I get the bouncy castle for?

GARDEN HIRES: We start delivering all garden hires from 7:30am and aim to have all deliveries done by 11am. We then start collections at 5pm so the minimum hire period is 6 hours. Delivery routes are planned on a geographical round basis and are then collected in the same order to make it fair on everyone. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee specific delivery and collection times unless you are hiring a venue/hall.

VENUE/HALL HIRES: If you are hiring a venue then we work around you and your times.

What preparation is needed before your arrive?

Please make sure that side passages, or any other access to your garden/venue are clear of obstacles etc. We require a minimum 3 foot width access depending on the size of the unit hired. Ensure that the area where the bouncy castle is to be sited is free of any sharp objects, excessive mud and dog mess. We will need access to an electricity power point within 25 metres. If the driver is caused to wait while you prepare the site, you may be charged a waiting fee.

What sort of surface do you need for the bouncy castle?

A bouncy castle situated outdoors needs to be on a reasonably flat natural grassed area so that it can be staked down. The area needs to be completely free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess etc before we arrive on the morning to set up. During our busy periods we do not often have time to wait whilst the area is cleared.

Please make sure you have measured the grassed area in your garden before booking in with us to make sure the area is plenty big enough for the inflatable you want to hire. Areas required are listed for each bouncy castle on the website to help you. You will also be asked for a picture of your garden before a booking is confirmed just so we can make sure the area is suitable and are for the inflatable you want to hire.

To comply with health and safety legislation and for the safety of the children using the inflatable we will not set up an inflatable castle outside on hard standing. This is because we can not secure the bouncy castle properly to meet new health and safety guidelines. We cannot also set up on Artificial grass for the same reasons unless you are happy for us to peg through the artificial grass like we would on natural grass.

Indoors – we can provide more safety mats and use sandbags to secure the unit where pegs cannot be used.

If you are unsure we may be able to visit the site to assess its suitability. We do this free of charge although we can’t always guarantee to be able to sustain this service – especially during busy periods.

Are your bouncy castles suitable for indoor use?

All of our units are suitable for indoor hire but obviously this depends on your venue. Please take into account ceiling height as well as the width and length of the hall. We are very familiar with lots of the local halls so can offer advise on what will fit inside certain venues.

What happens if it rains/windy on the day of a hire?

Most of our inflatables have sewn in shower covers so will stay dry in a light shower. However in heavy rain the bouncy castle will become wet and it is advised that the inflatable is not used as it becomes very slippery. Bouncy castles can be towel dried once the rain has stopped. If you decide you would like to cancel your booking due to the weather then please let us know as soon as possible, preferably before 8am on the day of hire. You will not be charged for making this decision. It may also be necessary for us to cancel for the sake of safety in extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain or high winds. We have to follow strict guidelines to comply with health & safety rules and to validate our insurance, so if the wind speed including gusts is forecast to be above 24MPH at any point through the day of your hire we will cancel the booking for obvious safety reasons. Its not a decision we take lightly to cancel but we will not compromise on safety and our decision is final. Some times we can try and deliver your bouncy castle later on in the day if the weather improves but this is not guaranteed as hall/venue bookings we have will take priority. We will always contact you in the run up to your hire date to discuss the weather if we feel there may be a problem so you can try and make alternative arrangements. If you want to guarantee your bouncy castle being delivered then it is always best to book a venue if possible.

How much does the bouncy castle cost for me to run?

The average cost to run a bouncy castle for about an 8 hour period is between £2.00 – £3.00.

How many children are allowed on the inflatable at a time?

It all depends on the age and size of the children and what bouncy castle or inflatable size you are hiring. As a general rule there should be enough space for each child to jump safely with enough room as not to bounce into others or fall off the unit itself. A responsible adult should always supervise and common sense must prevail.
